Quilting Designs from the Past

This has got to be one of the best quilting books we have had.  While it doesn’t have a million designs, it has a lot - 300!! The quilting designs are historically accurate from quilts of the 1810 – 1940 eras. I find the ideas in here simply amazing. There are designs for backgrounds of quilts like Lone Stars, which are terribly difficult to decide upon, there are sashing designs, border designs, quilting for appliqué quilts, what we consider traditional quilts, strippy quilts and on and on.  A lot of the quilts actually look quite modern, so the designs really are useful – as well as beautiful!  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
